Sean Hayes confirms: “ I am gay!”
Sean Hayes, the former Will&Grace star finally revealed that he is gay for the April’s issue of Advocate. Shocking? Not much, especially because we have been suspecting that all along.
Until now, Hayes, or the silly Jake- as we remember him from the popular comedy series, has never been openly speaking about this. Now he pointed out how he was “never in” and finally gave a reply to all those rumors the Advocate has been spreading about his sexual preferences.
“I am who I am. I was never in, as they say. Never.”- Sean told. He also spoke about why he hasn’t been talking about his private life before: “I believe that nobody owes anything to anybody. You are your authentic self to whom and when you choose to be, and if you don’t know somebody, then why would you explain to them how you live your life?”
“Why would you go down that path with somebody who’s done so much to contribute to the gay community? That was my beef about it. What more do you want me to do? Do you want me to stand on a float? And then what? It’s never enough.”- he gave his conclusion on this topic. And a very good one, if we may add
