The divorce Hef filed will officially be finished on March 11th. Lucky Hef, he hasn’t been living with his wife for 11 years but was never a completely free man. Well, now he will have his peace and freedom.
Hef says he was faithful during their marriage while she cheated him in the beginning of it. However, that’s not the reason why he finally filed a divorce. The reason is the lawsuit when he was sued by no other than his own wife!
Basically Hef and his wife have been living separately since 1998 and they didn’t divorce because of their children. Hugh agreed to let her live in the house next to the Playboy mansion and paid her a fixed sum. That was working just fine until Hugh sold that house last august and his wife filed a 5 million dollar lawsuit against him.
Playboy tycoon couldn’t turn the other cheek stating: “I have been generous to a fault.”, and adds how he has already pay her every dollar of the sum they agreed upon in their prenuptial and postnuptial agreement.

The Playboy is almost broke, the rumors about that have been going on for a long time, and are confirmed. But, what we all couldn’t quite understand is how Hef manages to maintain the luxurious lifestyle while his company is falling apart. That doesn’t quite go together- maybe Playboy is not doing so bad after all. Right? Well, WRONG!
Shareholders of Playboy sued the elderly stud, naming him the problem that’s pushing Playboy deeper into the shit it’s in since the economy crisis started. According to them, Hef turned down two mayor deals and refused to sell the company even though the offered price was more than reasonable.
An investment company hired to analyze Playboy’s business backed up the lawsuit with a note that says: “We think the wildcard here is Hugh Hefner. If you were Hugh Hefner, 81, would you give up the parade of busty blonds, the fancy mansion and the reality TV show for a payout? Hefner has continued to live the good life and make sure everyone knows it. Hefner remains in the limelight, showing up at media events and at the Playboy mansion … with his girlfriends by his side.”
Duh! Come on, did anybody really expect Hef will sell his lifestyle!? Especially now when his “few more good years” passed long time ago?
