The heiress of Johnson & Johnson and the fiancée of a scandal-making Tila Tequila died from a condition called ” diabetic ketoacidosis”, or a shortage of insulin and high blood sugar, in plain words.

Chief coroner Ed Winter said that she wasn’t taking her insulin and neglected her condition. She didn’t kill herself, as many tabloids have been reporting. At least not literally.

Casey was diagnosed with severe diabetes as a child and her party girl lifestyle didn’t help fighting this disease either. The report from coroner’s office confirmed that Casey died from “natural causes”- “There’s no evidence of foul play. Of course, there will be a toxicology report from the coroner’s office. “- LAPD Officer, Sara Faden, explained.
