DAME Elizabeth Taylor was buried in an $11,000 casket.
The ‘Cleopatra’ actress – who passed away on Wednesday (23.03.11) at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from symptoms relating to congestive heart failure aged 79 – also requested the ceremony was delayed by 15 minutes so she could be “late to her own funeral”.
The 79-year-old actress — who was laid to rest in a private Jewish ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in California, yesterday afternoon — was committed to the earth in a “top of the line, traditional Jewish casket”.

BEIJING, Sept. 9 (Xinhuanet) — Rich Cronin, lead singer of the late-1990s boy band LFO, died at 35 after a long battle with leukemia, according to media reports.

Cronin died in a hospital after suffering a stroke on Wednesday, a family member told media. Cronin was diagnosed in  2005 with acute myelogenous leukemia. He soon started the Rich Cronin Hope Foundation to raise awareness about leukemia and to encourage people to become bone marrow donors.
