Susan Boyle dreamed a dream to be as big as her role model Elaine Paige. And her dream came true when they sang a duet on Christmas eve TV show. But Elaine revealed afterwards that she doesn’t share the world’s fascination for this 48 old rising star. She called Susan a “virus that spread over the world”  and  “ an amateur with no experience in music or art anyhow”.  Poor Susan, how will she react to all this when Elaine was her idol and she used to sing her songs in her bedroom?!

And Elaine didn’t stop just there! She called Susan an overnight star and didn’t express any enthusiasm for the progress of Susan’s career. When asked about her feelings on the duet and overall success of this Scottish spinster, she replied “I don’t particularly feel any pride for her – I’m sure she is proud of what she has done. “ Ugh-huh! Very mean!

What happened to being graceful? Especially because Susan was always going on and on about how Elaine Paige is her role model! Since all Elaine didn’t spare words about instant youtube stars and marketing campaigns that are supposed to produce over night success stories, the only logical conclusion is that she is jealous. And she has a darn good reason because Susan’s debut album “ I Dreamed A Dream”  sold  8 million copies. Pretty good for a “instant star” , right?
